I moved to Durango, Colorado to continue my education after taking a short break. My curiosity and appreciation for history, language, culture and business grew with each semester. I benefited greatly from the small class sizes, and made a point to put my coursework first. As a result, I graduated with a 3.9 cumulative GPA.

My master's degree in Educational Leadership has inspired me to pursue my most coveted dreams and goals. As a Content Creator, I actively built and maintained websites, listing pages, social media accounts, and photo organization for local businesses in the Southwest Colorado area. My independence and design skills grew rapidly at this start-up company, where I advanced my technical skills.

I served as the very first Transfer Admissions Counselor within the Office of Admissions, and had frequent conversations with directors and leaders about transfer initiatives. I took an active role in researching, learning, and sharing complex ideas surrounding higher education and recruitment.

After moving to Tucson, I began my journey within the Office of Admissions, where I planned, managed, and executed large scale events, workshops, information sessions, and professional development for student employees. I also created and managed creative deliverables and hosted social media takeovers. Project and task management were skills that I perfected while working on the Events Team.
