Industry Community College Proposal

Industry Community College is a fictitious institution that focuses on technical training and education, professional development, and real-world application of soft and hard skills. This group project was inspired by CCHE 580: The Community College, where team members were asked to participate in the planning of a new, innovative community college. Through collaboration, team work, and several meetings, our team produced an academic model that will support students who are currently working professionals in the region of "Industry, California." This includes weekend, evening, and online courses, as well as various associate degree tracks. This assignment is important to me because I believe in the mission of community colleges to educate the community and meet their diverse needs.​

Elle is for Learning Proposal

This multi-media project was inspired by CCHE 688: College Teaching. This project had very little boundaries to consider, and students were welcomed to choose topics that were creative and interesting. The task was to think outside of the box and curate a unique piece of technology that could assist students in learning. I really enjoyed this project, and the ability to create and innovate without strict requirements. Here, I demonstrate my presentation skills, design capabilities, and extensive research that was involved in this fictitious proposal. Elle is for Learning assists students who are primarily learning online and need to actively learn a new language. Students can utilize text to speech, speech to text, and advanced technology that aids in real-time conversation use and discussion with Siri-like software. ​
